A Manchester-based company stated that it was linked to Google firm that has been closed following an investigation by the Insolvency Service of United Kingdom.
The agency said Movette has been using fake and deceptive methods to run his business of Google My Business, a free search engine provided by the US search firm.
Movette had been in this business for a long time before going wound up in the High Court.
Before the intervention, £500,000 in fees was received.
Google My Business is the service provider which allows searchers or users to share their images and information about themselves and their companies or corporations in order to display relevant listings in its searching tool or Map.
Movette had charged its victims by illegal methods between £199 to £249 annually to maintain their entries.
They spoke to their clients that they would lose their listings in the search engine of Google My Business if they couldn’t pay.
The company illegally implied that it represented to Google Search Engine when contacting to its clients. It used offensive, harassing and threatening methods to collect money. The business failed to complete its contract within its given or agreed time period.
Many clients had also posted their complaints about it online that they always call or ring with held number but when calling back to them, it was a premium contact no i.e. totally scam.
Movette had started operating his a similar business to just another company named (Online Platform Management Consultants Ltd) which was shut in April 2015 after getting know that it was from the same Manchester address.
