The big news of Apple’s messaging app “Telegram” getting banned was Published by Apple news site 9to5Mac. The users who were posting the photos got banned and the App made it’s way back to the App store after going through a few fixes. Apple said that they had alerted more controls to prevent these kind of activities to take place again. The email stated the reasons behind the App getting banned. It was told that the app store team was notified about the unethical and illegal content moving around the Application. The content contained child pornography that was strictly taken care of.
This was not the first time when Telegram got accused of entertaining violent and harsh content. The application got banned in Iran in December and in Afghanistan in November as per to restrict the Taliban and other groups from misusing it. The manager of the App store, Phil Schiller took a high alert action by banning the application quickly from the App store after the incident getting report.
The messaging app allows large chats for about 50,000 users and it carries a “secret chat function” too which allows texts to get self destructed after they are conveyed. Theresa May, the Prime Minister labeled the App a place where Criminals and Terrorists can conceal their harmful criminal activities. She stated that no one wants to be labeled as the platform of Terrorists or the application made for “pedophiles”
